FAQ

  • Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately not at this time. However, education sessions may be reimbursable depending on your insurance coverage and we can provide a superbill as requested.

  • What’s the difference between this session and what you do in your office?

While counseling and providing medical advice is always a part of an office visit, FemEd workshops offer far more depth and breadth of medical information. FemEd sessions do not provide personalized medical advice.

  • Can we do one on one private sessions?

Absolutely. Email us: info@femalehealtheducation.com and we can provide you with options.

  • Do you do live workshops?

    We are working on it!

Email us: info@femalehealtheducation.com and we can discuss more!

  • Shouldn’t my (expensive) health insurance cover care for sexual concerns?

Shouldn’t my (expensive) health insurance cover care for sexual concerns? It does … sometimes … and for some providers. We both practice clinical medicine and we both care for patients with sexual health concerns. You want know how much time we have for these appointments? 15 minutes. 30 minutes if we’re lucky. This workshop covers more than 5.5 HOURS of information (more than 8.5 hours with the Female Body Basics digital library). You will see as you go through the lessons that we reference doctors’ visits again and again - helping guide you to get the most out of your doctor’s visits!

  • Does this workshop mean I can skip a few doctors’ visits?

Nope. This workshop helps to give you comprehensive education about sexual wellness. It is not a substitute for health care.

  • How do you know this will help me? Nothing else has.

When people don’t get adequate results from their doctor visits for sexual dysfunction it’s usually because they don’t get the depth and breadth of information, or the ongoing support or motivation, to make longer term changes. Our course is designed to give you both of these – something missing from our current health care system.

  • Does this mean you are my doctor?

No. We are providing medical information, not medical advice or recommendations. Visiting this website, reading our free content, or taking our workshop is in no way a substitute for medical or health care and should not be taken as such.

  • Can I become your patient?

Unfortunately we are not accepting new patients as this time. We created Female Health Education to be able to reach a wider audience and a deeper understanding of female health than we could provide in our clinical practice – and we encourage you to learn from us here!

P.S. Our Sexual Wellness Workshop provides info on how to approach doctor’s visits to optimize outcomes and how to find providers best suited for you!
