Female Health Education’s

Sexual Wellness Workshop

OUR WORKSHOP:

With a combined 30+ years as OBGYNs, we’ve created this resource to help improve your sex life. This is information you will not get in a doctor’s office! There are too many time constraints in our current medical system. While we love being physicians, medicine (especially sexual medicine) is failing our patients.

We’ve spent years listening, learning, and creating a resource to fill in the gaps of what is missing in your doctors’ visit.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:

  • 8 weeks. 6 core topics covered over 15 lessons.

  • More than 5.5 hours of digital content with PDF summaries and worksheets for each lesson.

  • We recommend setting aside about 1 hour each week to complete the lesson and worksheet “homework”. Weekly motivation from us keeps you on track (but also - NO PRESSURE! It’s ok to work at your own pace too!)

What you will learn:

  • Libido

Our Sexual Brain impacts every aspect of libido. We cover how stress, mental health, hormones, medications, gender differences, cultural message, and body image all interfere … and how to work on them to improve libido!

  • Pain with Sex

A comprehensive review of reasons people have pain with sex. Tips to troubleshooting pain with sex on your own. Concrete ways to approach this topic with your doctor to get results!

  • Vaginal Dryness

and no, the answer is not simply “use more lube”

  • Orgasm

There are multiple factors that cause problems with orgasm. These are discussed and specific, actionable items are given to help overcome them.

  • Sex Toys

Lubes, vibrators, and other sex toys are reviewed. The medical literature is reviewed. We show you how to incorporate toys into your sex life in a safe and fun way.

  • Medications + Supplements

In depth review of supplements and prescription medication for sexual dysfunction. Includes common brands and supplements with data on if they actually help; FDA approved options as well as off label use (example: did you know one commonly used antidepressant is sometimes used to enhance libido?)

OUR DOCTORS HAVE BEEN FEATURED IN …

Have more questions? We have answers!

Shouldn’t my (expensive) health insurance cover medical care for sexual concerns?

  • It does … sometimes … and for some providers. We both practice clinical medicine and we both care for patients with sexual health concerns. You want to know how much time we have for these appointments? 15 minutes. 30 minutes if we’re lucky. More time is needed to teach the core information necessary for sexual wellness. This workshop covers more than 5.5 HOURS of information. We discuss when and why doctors’ visits will be helpful throughout the workshop - helping guide you to prepare for and optimize that visit.

Does this workshop mean I can skip a few doctors’ visits?

  • Nope. This workshop gives you comprehensive education about sexual wellness. It is not a substitute for health care. We are not your doctors - we are your instructors. Taking this course does not imply we are in a patient-physician relationship.

What’s the time commitment?

  • We recommend (and gently remind you!) to do one lesson a week. Each lesson consists of digital lessons, varying between 10 to 25 minutes. The worksheets – your homework – is divided into DO IT NOW and TRY IT OUT activities. The DO IT NOW activities are designed to be quick but effective. We recommend doing these immediately after finishing the digital lesson. You have to do the work to get results! The TRY IT OUT activities are designed for people needing extra support in that topic and for the long term – to continue your sexual health journey even after you’ve “completed” the workshop.

How do you know this will help me? Nothing else has.

  • When people don’t get adequate results from their doctor visits for sexual dysfunction it’s usually because they don’t get the depth and breadth of information, or the ongoing support or motivation, to make longer term changes. Our course is designed to give you both of these – something missing from our current health care system.

And what if it doesn’t? What if I spend this money and it doesn’t help at all?

  • We are not promising all your problems will be fixed. Some issues need medical or additional support that we cannot offer in this format. However, we are confident you will see an improvement in your sexual wellness if you do the work. And, if you do the work and don’t see an improvement, we will refund you the money you spent on the workshop! ***

*** Money back guarantee specifics: If you watch each lesson and do the activities on the DO IT NOW and TRY IT OUT lists and then think “this didn’t change anything!” – email us! We will ask you to send us a copy of your completed worksheets (most are written activities) and answer a brief questionnaire within 8 weeks of workshop opening. If this exchange demonstrates you have completed the workshop ini good faith and have shown no improvement we will refund your money.
